@@Number1Tailsfan It's a fad. Serious music collection is happening on CDs right now. There's no serious music collection going on Vinyl except in very rare cases like out of prints getting printed again (and not seeing a correspondent CD release) or in the case of very old vinyl records that have never been CD printed (but then again, you can't buy those at Walmart, you have to be part of a used music community) I have some vinyl records, but it's a fun thing, they are like trophies of records I really like. But my real collection is mostly CDs

@@OniLordMiki My eardrums wouldn't burst from a prolonged period of listening like you implied. If I listened to it at an extremely high volume then that would perhaps do it. Is that what you meant I wonder?

He was using a record player on a CD. It wasn't able read the CD, which is why it only made static.

He doesn't know what a CD is nor how it works as he was used to playing vinyls in 60s before he was frozen.

i wonder what someone from the 60s would think of the world today. i mean heck now someone from the 1990s would have trouble figuring out the world today.

@@thewewguy8t88 Anyone with a net-positive IQ could easily adapt from 1990 to 2021. Computers existed, the Internet existed, cars are basically the same except touch screens (wooo). Apart from (optional) social media and cell phones it's not exactly a mind-blowing change between the two timeframes.

@@tim3172 in some ways yes and other ways i dunno. i mean in that case people from the 1960s could adapt to the 1990s as well. plus there are other asspects like socially. music and movies and events we have had and just things that are socially accaptable from the 1990s are not as accaptable today. and i mean heck things that were not as socially accpetable today are more acceptable.

Cds are still better quality. I buy both but own more cds
